The Weekly Recap, Holly Jolly Edition
Well pals what a freaking week I’ve had in Romancelandia! I created a couple silly maps that kind of took off, and now I have an Etsy store?! Take a spin here if you’re interested in snagging a digital print or two! I can’t believe among all the love (RIP to my mentions), I managed to read anything at all!, here’s what aI got up to.
A Christmas Spark by Diana Biller
An ADORABLE short gilded age romance between an inventor and his lab assistant. This was SO freaking cute, and I’m thinking that I’m a Diana Biller girlie because there is just a way in which she writes her love interests that just DOES SOMETHING TO ME. Grab this one.
Right Place, Wrong Duke by Elisa Braden (Duke in a Box Anthology)
Oh my god this was hilarious, steamy AF and just the right level of over the top man confused by womanly emotions. A Scottish woman who very much LEAPS before she looks abducts the half brother of the Duke she’s meant to target.
Falling for Jack Frost by Molly Likovich (Free with KU)
How does this only have ~50 ish ratings on Goodreads?! This is a dark romance between Fae Winter King Jack Frost and his fated finance. Truly this book will smack you in the face and heart a few times and features primal play, BDSM themes and a court of attentive servers (if you catch my drift).
Dripping by Adriana Herrera (Free with KU)
FAT SUPERMODEL AND HER BUTCH BODYGUARD! I REPEAT FAT SUPERMODEL AND HER BUTCH BODYGUARD. Sign me TF up. Herrera’s sapphic novellas and short stories are just, perfection and this one def lives up to its title.
Using Fejo by Victoria Aveline (Free with KU)
Sometimes you just want to read about a soft alien boi who falls first, fast and is really freaking sweet. But will kill anyone who looks at you. Controversial yet brave opinion incoming: I think I might like this better than Choosing Theo.
Her Alpha Neighbor Wolf by Ariana Hawkes (Free with KU)
LOL me again, unable to stop picking these age-gap shifter romances up on KU. This was alright, but good enough for my overtaxed brain to connect and check out for a while with.
The Pitcher’s Assistant by Jessa Kane (Free with KU)
I can’t be stopped with these JK novellas. They are insane in the best ways and truly make me LOL, gasp, play act along while reading and try to explain them to my partner.
The Kingpin’s Prize by Jessa Kane (Free with KU)
Everything I said above, AND this FMC was going to go to NASA and design the next spaceship. AND I was here for every single unhinged moment and word of it.
The Fighter’s Prize by Jessa Kane (Free with KU)
This book, let me tell you, well upon reflection I can’t really. These JK novellas almost defy the ability to be described. Like a horny fever dream and a romance tornado had a baby.
