50 Ways To Win Back Your Lover: ARC Review

Y’all Kelly Siskind is truly a queen among us. Her romance novels are always equal parts, heart, soul, humour and deeply moving. So OF COURSE I am thrilled to be giving y’all an advanced review of her latest: 50 Ways To Win Back Your Lover.

As always, thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Thoughts below are my own. Enjoy!

Like I mentioned, Kelly has written some of my favourite romances to date (hello The Knockout Rule), and going into this one I admittedly had some high expectations. And friends, let me tell you she’s done it again. This was a FREAKING delight.

The premise is really great: we have E who ends up ripped from his life (and love) at 16 and placed into witness protection after his sh*tbag of a father was caught embezzling from a Cartel. The entire novel is told from his POV (which is a rarity in romancelandia) with equal parts laugh out loud commentary and heartbreaking longing.

This book will happily whisk you away from reality while you watch two broken hearted people find their way back to each other.

Delilah and E end up (through kismet) reconnecting at an airport (which let’s get serious is so romantic on its own) and after learning he is no longer needing to be under WITSEC protection, E is clear: he’s going to win back Delilah. One small problem she might be engaged to someone else. These two are clear soulmates, who are best friends first, so watching them figure out how to be friends again, and then lovers really did some intense things to my heart. The setting (small town), the epic love story (over 10 years), the tropes (only one bed), the grief, and the happily ever after made my heart soar.

Kelly is such a talent, and I am really excited for folks to meet, and fall in love with E, Delilah, Candy Cane, and the rest of the Bower Boys.

Perfect for fans of Lucy Score, Tara Sivec and Meghan Quinn, 50 Ways To Win Back Your Lover is a brilliant heart first rom-com that is sure to delight. Grab yourself a copy wherever you get your books, September 6th 2022.
